Outlook Desktop Alert Settings

If you are like me, the Outlook desktop alert might distract you. It pops up and plays a sound to inform you about incoming emails. Let's make this more subtle:

1. In Outlook 2007 click on Tools > Options


2. Go to E-mail Options...


3. Click Advanced E-mail Options


4. Click Desktop Alert Settings...


5. Change the settings to fit your needs (e.g., 3 seconds with 50% transparency).

Done!
